Special Issue Introduction
Dear Colleagues,
Nowadays, emerging cybersecurity trends in AI-based attacks have significantly advanced. Cybercrime as a service is becoming the standard business model, and attack tactics are evolving almost moment by moment. Accordingly, cyber security is a challenging issue, especially when presenting complex content in cyberspace. Over the past few decades, the intersection of technological advances such as advanced storage, IoT devices, and big data processing capabilities of modern computers and the evolution of artificial intelligence algorithms, and the rapid rise of competitors has led to extensive research.
Today, many cybersecurity systems are composed of Artificial Intelligence components to enable accurate and fast classification of system and network data to prevent and detect complex cyber-attacks. Similarly, the FBI uses rapid and accurate post-incident data classification to help strengthen legal action against technology-based criminal activities. In addition, attacks to circumvent artificial intelligence systems have evolved as part of hostile attacks. This Special Issue focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging cybersecurity trends in attacks and solutions.
The research areas for this Special Issue are but are not limited to the following domains:
● AI-enabled security mechanisms for cybersecurity;
● Secure framework and platform for cybersecurity with AI;
● AI-enabled Intrusion detection systems;
● Artificial intelligence algorithms for cyber-attack protection mechanisms in IoT devices;
● Privacy protection mechanisms for cybersecurity;
● Authentication protocol for AI based on cyberattacks;
● AI algorithms protect the security, privacy, and trust from cybersecurity attacks;
● Secure framework and platform for IoT.
