Congratulations to 4 Editorial Board Members of Journal of Surveillance, Security and Safety on Being Listed in “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers 2021” by Elsevier

Elsevier released the list of “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers 2021” on April 14, 2022, over 4000 Chinese researchers from multidisciplinary fields are on the list. The list aims to identify researchers in China who have significant influence in their field by publishing highly cited papers during the last decade.

We are delighted and honored to announce that four Editorial Board members of the Journal of Surveillance, Security and Safety (JSSS) were on the list, including Professor Xiaofeng Chen (Co-Editor-in-Chief of JSSS) from Xidian University, Professor Debiao He from Wuhan University, Professor Xinyi Huang (Associate Editors of JSSS) from Fujian Normal University, and Professor Fei Gao from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
We appreciate all these outstanding researchers for making contributions to computer science. We hope more outstanding researchers will work together with JSSS to promote the development of computer science.

Introduction of the researchers:
Professor Xiaofeng Chen

Research interest: Public key cryptography, Cloud computing security, Data security
Professor Xiaofeng Chen (H-index 49), an outstanding teacher in Internet Foundation Network Security, leader of Shaanxi cryptography teaching team. He is currently a leading professor in "Huashan Scholar Program" at Xidian University and deputy director of the Chinese Association for Cryptologic Research Algorithm Professional Committee. He is an Editorial Board member of IEEE TDSC, Journal of Cryptologic Research, etc., and served as chairman in various international conferences such as AisaCCS 2016, and NSS 2014. He won the 2016 Cryptologic Innovation Award of China Cryptology Society, Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Award, and the Second Prize of Natural Science Award of Ministry of Education in 2019. Currently, his publications have received more than 10,000 citations on Google Scholar.

Professor Debiao He

Research interest: Cryptography, Blockchain security, Cloud computing security, Internet of things security
Professor Debiao He (H-index 53) is a Professor in School of Cyber Science and Engineer at Wuhan University. He won the First Prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, was selected as Global Highly Cited Researchers 2019, and won the best paper award from top international journals such as IEEE Systems Journal and IET Information Security. He served as President of the Hubei Commercial Cryptography Association, Director of Cryptography Research Institute of Wuhan University, Deputy Director of China Cryptography Society Blockchain Special Committee, and Standing Member of China Computer Society Blockchain Professional Committee. He has published more than 100 papers in top international journals/conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, and USENIX Security. Currently, his publications have received more than 8,000 citations on Google Scholar. He also presided over 20 research projects such as The General Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, The Key Program of National Natural Science Foundation, and Sub-project of China National Key R&D Program.

Professor Xinyi Huang

Research interest: Cryptography and Information Security
Professor Huang Xinyi (H-Index 48) is a Professor at the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, Fujian Normal University. His research interests are information security and its applications. Since 2005, he has published more than 80 academic papers in domestic and foreign academic journals (IEEE series journals, etc.) and academic conferences (PKC, etc.). According to the statistics of Google Scholar, his published papers have been cited more than 1500 times. He obtained 5 software copyright certificates. He has participated in a number of national and provincial scientific research projects, and has been invited to serve as academic editor in 5 international academic journals including International Journal of Information Security (Springer). He is also the Executive Chairman of the 265th Young Scientist Forum of China Association for Science and Technology (New Cryptography for Cloud Computing), Chairman of the Program Committee of more than 10 international academic conferences such as ISPEC2014, NSS2014, NSS2013, INCOS2013, and program committee member of more than 30 international academic conferences such as ESORICS2014, ICDCS2014, ACISP2014, and ICC2014.

Professor Fei Gao

Research Interests: Quantum cryptography, Quantum algorithm, Cryptographic protocols
Professor Fei Gao works at the School of Cyberspace Security, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He has presided over (including completed) 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talents Program、each of the Beijing Science and Technology Rising Star Project, the Beijing Natural Science Foundation Project, the Ministry of Education's Science and Technology Research Key Project and the Ministry of Education's Doctoral Program New Teacher Fund Project. He has published more than 100 SCI papers in Journal on Selected Areas in Communications,Transactions on Computers,Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, Physical Review Letters, Public Relations Association, Chinese Science and other journals. Among them, there are 52 Top journals and CCF A-category journals (identified by the Chinese Academy of Sciences Division System), 2 ESI Hot Papers and 2 Highly Cited Papers. SCI has been cited more than 3000 times, and the H-index is 44. Two first-author papers were selected as "China's 100 Most Influential International Academic Papers" and the first prize of "Most Influential Papers" of the Chinese Physical Society.
